      The best places to travel will vary widely based on your experience, your certification level, your tolerance of cold water (gear also), and what you want to see.

      You can book your travel a variety of ways:

      1. You can arrange your own airfare, hotel, and diving once you choose your destination. This allows for the most freedom in your schedule. This also lets you be most flexible in the costs of the trip.

      2. You can travel with a dive shop or dive club. The price and schedule will be a little more restricted in this case, but I have been on some awesome dive shop trips.

      3. Some travel agencies will book scuba trips. I am wary of these as many times the people arranging it are not divers and they are just going off the best commission that they can get.
