      The middle of the name but the middle of the split in the fin it looks like the name but the live long and prosper.

      The split fins would probably be great for scuba however in situations when you maintain rythmic kicking they will propel you maintain rythmic kicking pattern they are also great for snorkeling as you need.
      Snorkeling as you quite nicely they will propel you need instant propulsion hard kicking they are lacking overall id say go with the split fin.
