Snorkeling?

gizmo0013 asked:

We are going on Royal Caribbean Cruise in Dec for our honeymoon. We want to go snorkeling. I have all my equipment from diving. Can I just bring my own and when we get to Key West can we snorkel on our own? Can we bring it on the ship?
What do you usually carry it in if you bring your own?
And do you usually take fins too? What all do you take?
Will it be warm or will we need wetsuits in Dec31-Jan5? We are going to the Bahamas.
