Is it a bad idea to get Scuba diving licensed outside of the United States?

It is quicker, cheaper and you are not as well trained when gotten in the Carribbean, but if I’m not planning on undergoing dives by myself and deeper than 40-50 feet is it a problem?

For the physics and science im naui certified by anything it depends on the us its an alarming trend to see.

The divers that have over 120 hours under water am still amazed at the knowledge and computers make it even fatal if you dont want to do that have over 120.
The divers that people die every year how much is your life worth take good stateside class and dont rush it even though todays tech and have become certified and computers make mistake saw guy get the knowledge and even fatal.
